Background Information The Chapital
Cardiology Clinic was founded in 1997 by Dr. Emmett B. Chapital, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana. Though the clinic has been in operation for 4 years at the time of this writing, the clinic currently serves several
hundred patients in the metro New Orleans area. Along with Internal Medicine care, the cardiovascular diagnostic and preventive care is second to none in the South Eastern part of the country.
Dr. Chapital
currently is one of the only physicians in the state of Louisiana that is certified to practice Nuclear Cardiology which is the latest in preventive diagnostic care. This service is available in our office without a
hospital stay or seeing another physician.
Our goal is to provide our patients with the tools that will help them live long, healthy lives by providing sophisticated cardiac care. |

Appointments
Our office is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
Office visits are by appointment only. Please call (504) 482-9755 for more information
When calling for an appointment, please
alert us to any immediate problems that you may be having.
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Although we do not like to bill our patients for missed
appointments, we reserve the right to do so.
Telephone Requests
During regular office hours, our staff is always available by phone
Unfortunately, our volume is such that our physicians can not respond
to every concern on the spot, however, if you call and alert us that your
concern is an emergency we can accommodate you quicker.
Weekend and Evening Hours
We are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. By calling the
office during office hours or on the weekends, our answering service
will route all calls to physicians immediately. If you have a life
threatening emergency, please go to your nearest emergency room and
alert them that you are under the Chapital Cardiology Clinic care. |
